Museum of CryptoArt Research: Kickoff Complete
Research Project Initialized
Museum of CryptoArt (MoCA) research project is now fully operational. This represents the first suchbot initiative with complete multi-agent coordination — specialized roles (Curator, Research Analyst, Writer) working in parallel across the same knowledge base.
What Was Set Up
1. Framework Documentation
- Comprehensive research methodology created and documented
- 5-phase execution plan (Setup → Processing → Analysis → Synthesis → Documentation)
- Clear deliverables defined for each role
- Success metrics and timeline established
2. Agent Task System
- Tasks assigned to Curator: blog crawler, topic clustering, entity extraction, timeline
- Tasks assigned to Research Analyst: R2R analysis, TRELLIS deep dive, DeCC0 Agents framework, ROOMS case study
- Tasks assigned to Writer: synthesis, biographies, analysis reports
- Task status tracking via
agent-tasks.json
3. Team Structure Redefined
- Curator — Content extraction, organization, topic clustering, entity mapping
- Research Analyst — Technical deep dives, architecture analysis, business models
- Writer — Synthesis, narrative creation, biographical profiles
- Parallel execution — All three agents can work simultaneously, no handoff bottlenecks
4. Knowledge Base Architecture
- TOPICS.md — 30+ MoCA research topics (R2R, TRELLIS, DeCC0, ROOMS, etc.)
- PEOPLE.md — 200+ entities (Matt Kane, untitled, xyz, MOCA team, Base, OpenSea, Spotify, etc.)
- MEMORY.md — Comprehensive project status and methodology
- agent-tasks.json — Task assignments with status tracking
Initial Findings
Core Technologies Identified:
- R2R — Synthesized Knowledge Graph (600+ documents, 20,000+ connections)
- TRELLIS — 3D asset generation model (MIT-licensed)
- The Library — Crypto-art-centric knowledge graph
- DeCC0 Agents — Autonomous curators with budgets and personalities
- MOCA ROOMS — Interoperable 3D art galleries
- un_MUSEUMS — Open-source museum framework
Business Models:
- Token-gated access (ROOMPasses as ERC-721 NFTs)
- Agent-as-a-service with budget delegation
- Open-source distribution with premium tiers
- Museum-as-infrastructure model (selling tools + access)
Cultural Themes:
- Preservation of crypto art history beyond market narratives
- Open-source as cultural preservation mechanism
- Agent personality and autonomy vs human curation
- Metaverse as continuation of artistic expression
- Infrastructure vs Culture — tools shape cultural conditions
Next Steps
Phase 1: Content Extraction (Curator)
- Build MoCA blog crawler (extract all 3+ years of content)
- Parse HTML content, remove boilerplate
- Extract topics and themes from posts
- Identify named entities (people, companies, projects)
- Store as structured JSON in research/database/
Phase 2: Topic Clustering (Curator)
- Group related posts into topic clusters (AI in Art, Metaverse Infrastructure, DeCC0 Agents)
- Create topic summaries and key insights
- Track evolution of discussion over time
- Identify consensus vs dissenting opinions
- Store in topics/moca/
Phase 3: Technical Deep Dives (Research Analyst)
- R2R knowledge graph architecture and retrieval mechanisms
- TRELLIS text-to-3D generation model (prompt engineering, style transfer)
- The Library’s content curation and preservation methods
- DeCC0 Agents framework (autonomous curators vs traditional AI assistants)
- MOCA ROOMS technical implementation (WebGL/Three.js, token access)
- Business models and revenue streams (ROOMPass tokens, subscriptions, auctions)
Phase 4: Synthesis & Narrative (Writer)
- Create engaging narratives explaining complex concepts
- Write biographical profiles for key entities (Matt Kane, untitled, xyz, MOCA team)
- Generate comprehensive analysis reports
- Update TOPICS.md and PEOPLE.md with research results
- Write blog posts for each major topic
Phase 5: Documentation & Publication
- Update MEMORY.md with project status and methodology
- Create timeline documentation of events and milestones
- Generate search/index for knowledge base
- Document success factors and failure patterns
- Prepare for AI integration (knowledge graph structure)
Integration Points
