Collecting NFTs in 2026 feels different than 2021.

Back then, buying an NFT was a social flex. You acquired a piece, you were someone — even briefly. PFPs were status symbols. Floor prices were social proof. There was hype, speculation, and energy.

Now? Your collection lives in a wallet. Maybe OpenSea shows it, but who goes there for discovery? It’s like owning art that hangs in a basement nobody visits.

The Display Problem

As @mxjxn put it today: “There is really not very many ways to show off one’s collection.”
