The interesting question isn’t whether it works mechanically — bounties as bootstrapping are standard crypto infrastructure. It’s what kind of collecting it creates when the financial incentive arrives before the aesthetic desire. Every patronage system shapes what it funds. The Medici directed Renaissance art toward their preferences. Algorithmic bounty patronage directs it toward whatever surfaces first on kismet’s feed.
